Hi, I'm Jo, a nutrition and health coach based in Oxfordshire, specialising in menopause gut health and skin-gut nutrition. I help women navigate the midlife transition by reconnecting with the power of wholefoods and positive self-care.

I'm an accredited Oxfordshire-based Women's Health Coach, and I provide digestive wellness programmes to women in midlife and later years. I teach you how to support your gut health as you go through menopause, and help you to overhaul your sleepenergy and confidence using my nutrition and lifestyle system.

  • While I am based in Oxfordshire, my coaching is delivered entirely online, allowing us to work together from the comfort of your own home, anywhere in the UK. My training at the International Institute of Nutritional Health initially began as part of my own self-education, to help me get to grips with how to handle mid-life hormonal change and my health issues.  It was a game-changing decision for me, and I'm so glad that I took the leap of faith to go back to studying! 

 

The more I learned about nutrition science, hormonal change, digestion, stress, lifestyle and behavioural science - and piece by piece, applied what I was learning to my own life - I very quickly saw noticeable, sometimes dramatic gains in my energy and health.  Just from making small shifts.  

 

And I rapidly knew that I was becoming equipped with something far more profound - something I could carry forward to help other women who felt isolated and stuck with their wellbeing.

And it's a foodie thing...

 

Yes, I am a nutrition and health coach and a massive foodie.  I'm not the coach for you if you want fad diets, a Pollyanna Perfect boot camp, the latest hack or 5-second magic solutions. 

 

This especially relates to my training at IINH, which is a long-standing respected provider of education in health coaching and nutritional therapy, and has a cookery school integrated into the core of its nutrition science syllabus (be still, my beating heart...). You can expect me to share relevant recipes and food planning ideas.

So how can nutrition and health coaching help you to nourish and nurture your gut health? 

You've tried going it alone, doing your best to make food and drink switches, or follow meal plans.

Coaching sessions are not prescriptive time together. 

 

Yes, I work with my clients on nutrition and lifestyle education, and providing tailored guidance on the best way forward.

But in every session, we address what is or isn't working for you on a practical level. This is about the real you.  How to switch up your food, your handling of stress, your sleep, in a way that fits with you, your schedule, your home, your life.

​

We'll work together on why certain changes are challenging. Maybe you have a hectic commute. Maybe you've had a rubbish year. Maybe you have some emotional eating behaviours.  We'll work on that together.

We'll get to the heart of the matter.​

So many sources of information on how to support your health.  So much overload. But it doesn't come with practical, caring support.

 

I support clients on the paced, foundational changes so they'll last. I provide education on nutrition and health, mapped to your priorities. I am fully present for my clients, cheering them on.

I help with reviewing your schedule, your food habits and preferences, your stress load and your real, messy imperfect life.

​

I help with how you can make-over your pantry, your snacks, your food shopping, your sleep routine.  We put it all together, we build your plan.  

​

You move from overload to confidence in what you're going to do, and how you're going to do it.​​

I also offer my Skin-Gut Health Programme which is tailored around supporting women with skin imbalances and the emotional stress that these bring. I work with women on softening the symptoms of:
